By creating a student account and using LAS, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to follow these rules. If you are under 18, please also ask your parent or guardian to read these terms with you.

1. About LAS

LAS is a fun and safe learning tool that helps students like you build better study habits, improve your skills, and gain confidence in your schoolwork. It includes interactive lessons, practice exercises, and an AI tutor (Ezi AI) to support your learning journey.

2. Who Can Use LAS

• You must be at least 13 years old to have your own account.
• If you are between 13 and 17, you need permission from a parent or legal guardian.
• You agree to use LAS only for learning purposes and to treat other users and the platform with respect.

3. Your Account & Privacy

• Your personal information (like your name, email, and progress) is kept safe and secure.
• We never share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
• You have the right to see the data we hold about you and ask for corrections or deletion.
• We comply with child privacy laws (COPPA, GDPR-K, and POPIA). Your parent or guardian can also access your account reports.

4. Using the Platform

• You are responsible for keeping your login details private.
• Do not share your account with others or use LAS in a way that harms others.
• The AI tutor (Ezi AI) learns from your activity to give you personalised tips, which helps you improve.

5. Billing (for students)

LAS is usually provided through your school or paid for by your parent or guardian. You do not need to worry about payments. If you have questions about costs, please talk to your parent or school.

6. Intellectual Property

All content in LAS (lessons, exercises, videos, and software) belongs to LAS or its partners. You may use it for your own learning, but you cannot copy, share, or sell it without permission.

7. Rules for Good Behaviour

• Be kind and respectful in any communication.
• Do not cheat or misuse the tools.
• Report any problems or inappropriate content to your teacher or to LAS support.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, we will notify you (and your parents, if applicable) in advance. Continued use of LAS means you accept the new terms.

By using LAS, you confirm that you understand and agree to these Student Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you are under 18, you also confirm that your parent or guardian has reviewed and accepted these terms on your behalf.
